Having a period is inevitable. Women have to carry period products almost all the time in order to have an emergency stash. Because of the stigma behind periods, most women are reluctant to take period products out in public.
Speaking freely about periods is commonly seen as an act of feminism. Period education around the world isn't truly informative and is very misogynistic, which doesn't help reduce the judgement surrounding period products. In an ideal world people shouldn't be scared to talk about periods, but this isn't an ideal world.
